HR Employee Relations and Transactional Manager


Location: Hybrid working. 2 days in the office based at 1 Angel Square, Manchester, M60 0AG


Salary: £50,269 to £54,495 per annum, NJC scale column points 39 to 43


Hours per week: 37 hours


About the role

Do you want to occupy this brand new role, being part of an expert team collaborating to embed exceptional HR practice?


The HR function at Co-op Academies Trust is evolving; and we are committed to providing a HR service that puts our colleagues at its centre. As part of the newly formed operational team, you will work closely with the new Head of HR Operations and HR Systems Manager to integrate HR processes across policy, guidance and the HR Information System..


You will lead and manage the delivery of a high-quality and professional HR advisory and transactional service, focusing on the employee and line manager experience.


You will coach and develop a team of enthusiastic HR Advisers to provide consistent and legally compliant advice; mitigating organisational risk and promoting positive working relationships with recognised trade unions.


You will ensure accurate and timely administration of the employee lifecycle, working closely with the HR Systems Manager to maximise use of the newly implemented HRIS.
