It operates under the auspices of both the Church of England and Catholic Dioceses of Portsmouth. The school has over 1,100 students on roll, including a Sixth Form College of about 200 students. It is a well-established comprehensive school, which is well supported by parents and highly respected in the community.

We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in and passion for Science and the desire to achieve a professionally recognised qualification as a Lab Technician. The successful candidate will be required to assist with a range of duties as allocated by the Senior Science Technician. This will be a fixed term contract for the 18-month duration of the apprenticeship programme. Once qualified, you will have the opportunity to be employed by the College as a Science Technician and will also be able to obtain further qualifications and potentially progress to a Senior Science Technician role in the future.
