Your Role

St Peter’s Catholic College is part of Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, a family of 38 schools and 2 sixth forms from across the Diocese of Middlesbrough. With 12,300 pupils and 1,500 staff, the Trust is one of the North-East’s largest Catholic Trusts.

The successful applicant will manage the ARC Centre as part of the Pastoral Team to promote learning and welfare of vulnerable pupils. The purpose of the ARC Centre is to support vulnerable pupils who experience barriers to learning through behaviour issues. In this role you will act as Gatekeeper to the ARC Centre, with a focus to reintegrate pupils into class.

Catholic schools are welcoming places to pupils and members of staff from all faiths and none. More than a quarter of a million pupils and almost half of teachers in Catholic schools are not of the Catholic Faith.

The Trust offers:

  • A strong, supportive ethos
  • Happy, enthusiastic and friendly pupils
  • Highly experienced and talented colleagues
  • Excellent professional development and progression opportunities across our 38 schools
  • Supportive Trust board, governors and parents
