We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious teacher, with an exceptional teaching ability, to join our vibrant academy. The Maths department is a strong and successful part of our team. Our results are consistently above national average for 4+ 5+ 7+ measures, and we have a Maths progress score of +0.80 in 2024 and +0.76 in 2025. (Results for 2025: - 78% 4+;62% 5+;22% 7+) Students are encouraged to take an additional level 2 further mathematics qualification to support their development in year 11 but also challenge them in preparation for A - Level mathematics. Furthermore, to develop a love and enjoyment of mathematics, students compete in the UKMT challenge. Nurture groups are used to support students in year 7 to 9 to ensure all students are effectively supported within the classroom.
