Sneinton St. Stephen’s C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint an excellent teaching practitioner who has high expectations of pupil progress and a passion for their own professional growth. This exciting role will involve teaching across both the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.

We are seeking a talented and passionate teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is committed to making a real difference in children’s lives and values creativity, professional development and community engagement. The successful candidate will work across both EYFS and KS1, supporting strong foundations for learning and helping children thrive as they progress through the early stages of their education.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover appointment. The position has been created to cover a period of maternity leave and is therefore temporary in nature.
You will:
· Have a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1, with the ability to create engaging learning experiences that enable all children to thrive.
· Be passionate about teaching and learning and making a difference to every child.
· Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.
· Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues.
· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
