Carleton Park Junior and Infant School is small in size but big in ambition. We are a close-knit community where every child is known, nurtured and challenged to achieve their very best. In November 2024, Ofsted praised the school as Outstanding in all five inspected areas, affirming our commitment to excellence.

2025 Edurio Staff Survey

Pontefract Academies Trust has been recognised with the Trust Value Award – Excellence in the 2025 Edurio Awards – placing us among the top 10 performing trusts nationally, based on staff feedback.

Carleton Park Junior & Infant School received fantastic results in the survey, with 96% of staff saying they would recommend the school as a good place to work. This surpasses both the Trust benchmark of 85% and the national benchmark of 73%.
