About Us
Gatehouse Primary is a large, coastal school based on the edge of Dawlish with the beach just 500 metres away. Split into 10 classes, we aim to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment for all children to learn, with each child supported and encouraged to do their best and take part in a wide range of opportunities and experiences. We promote our children to aspire, flourish and achieve through our character qualities of resilience, awe and wonder and striving for accuracy.
Our talented, committed and experienced team of educators enjoy their work and the learning environment makes learning fun and raises standards. We are also fortunate to have an enviable amount of outside space which includes a large dedicated outdoor area for EYFS, multiple playground areas, a wildlife and pond area, our own growing garden for the children and a large forest school set in beautiful woodland.
