Axminster Community Primary Academy

Axminster Community Primary School, our friendly school in the heart of the town, has a vision of Achievement for All, and we believe that providing challenges and opportunities allows all our pupils to grow and flourish, enabling them to achieve their full potential. Graded Good by Ofsted in May 2025, we provide a happy, safe and nurturing environment where everyone is valued.

Our incredibly talented teaching team are passionate about supporting each individual’s unique talents, and are well supported by the Axminster community who value our school very highly. Outside learning and play are very important at Axminster. We are fortunate to have large grounds including free-flow play areas for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2, with three playgrounds, a den building area, forest school area, quadrangle and field which are used for break times, lunch and PE.
