Westgate Primary School

Westgate Primary School, is set in the heart of the historic town of Warwick. For 140 years, Westgate has been serving the community from our beautiful Victorian building close to the Lord Leycester Hospital and the walls of Warwick Castle.

Staff and governors work closely together to ensure that the needs of all our children are met in all areas of school life and that each child is given a wealth of experience and opportunities that they remember fondly for the rest of their lives. Our children leave Westgate at the end of Year 6 as confident, responsible and competent members of society who are ready for the next phase of their educational journey.

Our school motto, "We Teach, We Learn, We Care" features prominently at Westgate and we challenge and support every child to enable them to be the best they can possibly be. Westgate provides a happy, caring, respectful and hardworking environment in which all staff utilise their skills to enable the children in their care to recognise their true potential and talents. 

We are a caring and nurturing team who work hard to create a happy, secure and high-quality learning environment in which all members of the school community can grow in confidence and develop their full potential in all areas of learning.
