About the Role: The Heart of the Classroom ❤️

This unique HLTA position is crucial to the smooth running of our school. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, pre-planned lessons across the school, and you'll play a vital part in our creative curriculum by delivering our music curriculum to provide PPA cover.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Whole-Class Teaching: Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons to entire classes across various year groups in the absence of the teacher.
  • Music Curriculum Delivery: Inspire a love of music by teaching structured, pre-planned music lessons as part of PPA cover.
  • Pupil Support: Adapt learning materials, monitor progress, and provide targeted support to individuals and groups, including those with additional needs.
  • Mentorship: Act as a role model and guide for less experienced Teaching Assistants.
