At Co-op Academies Trust, we're on a mission to provide exceptional education for every child. With 38 academies across the North and Midlands and ambitious plans for the future, we're looking for a talented Graphic and Web Designer to help bring our story to life.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative designer who enjoys variety and wants to see their work make a real difference. As part of our Central Marketing and PR Team, you'll act as an in-house creative agency, supporting academies across the Trust with everything from social media content and prospectus design to animations, video editing and website development.

You'll be responsible for creating high-quality visual content that strengthens our brand, engages our communities and supports our academies to attract students, staff and partners.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same in this role. You'll work closely with colleagues across our academies and central teams to:

  • Design engaging digital content for social media channels across the Trust
  • Create school prospectuses, brochures and key stakeholder publications
  • Produce printed materials including signage, displays, posters and promotional resources
  • Develop simple animations and visual explainers to communicate key messages
  • Edit video content for internal and external audiences
  • Support the design and development of academy and Trust websites, ensuring a consistent and professional online presence
  • Manage and maintain our Trust-wide brand assets and Canva Pro platform
  • Coordinate photography projects and manage the Trust's image library
  • Support academies with marketing campaigns and design requirements
  • Advise and train colleagues on design tools, templates and best practice
  • Work collaboratively within the Marketing and PR Team to deliver impactful communications across the Trust

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with strong creative flair, excellent attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality design work.

You will have:

  • Experience working as a Graphic Designer in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong skills across Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
  • Experience creating digital and print materials for a range of audiences
  • Excellent visual communication skills and an eye for detail
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Experience building positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to learn, develop and embrace new technologies and approaches

It would be great if you also have:

  • Agency experience
  • Experience using After Effects or Animate
  • Photography skills and experience managing photo libraries
  • Experience using Google Workspace
