We are looking to appoint a Designated Safeguarding Lead (Support) who will work with the Senior Leadership Team to lead in all matters of safeguarding and child protection across the school.
The successful candidate will have a relevant DSL qualification and experience in a similar role, with an understanding of local authority and school procedures relating to attendance and child protection. You will work well within a team as well as using your own initiative to prioritise your workload in a fast paced environment to ensure deadlines are met. Your strengths will include building good relationships with children and adults, confidence in building inter agency relationships and patience. A willingness to be fully involved in school life is a must.
