Your Role

The governors of Willow Wood Community Nursery and Primary School are looking to appoint a Grade 5 Teaching Assistant to work in our EYFS department. 

We are a happy and welcoming school with wonderful children, staff and parents.

We are looking for Grade 5 teaching assistants who:

  1. has a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and supporting pupils with SEND 
  2. has experience of working within EYFS and delivering phonic sessions to groups
  3. makes our children smile and helps them to be excited about coming to school each day
  4. is enthusiastic about our school, our children and doing the best we can for every member of our community
  5. can support children effectively and consistently to secure good outcomes
  6. inspires children in varied learning activities that are relevant, purposeful, exciting and fun
  7. values children’s uniqueness
  8. has high expectations and demonstrates this through their attitude and approach inside and outside the classroom
  9. is reflective in their practice and seeks to develop themselves professionally
  10. has a positive can-do attitude
  11. is prepared to go the extra mile
  12. is able to work closely with parents to help them support their child’s learning
