The Global Awareness Faculty is a very strong department with a mixture of committed teachers of varied backgrounds and experiences, and the department benefits from strong and supportive leadership. It is envisaged that the person appointed will be enthusiastic about History and enjoy teaching the subject to all levels and abilities, and who is committed to ensuring pupil enjoyment and progress within our successful department. The position offers the opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to join an established and hardworking team.

 

The successful candidate will:

·        Be able to deliver History to KS4

·        Have a love of their subject 

·        Have a sound and detailed subject knowledge

·        Have high regard for their learning environment and resources

·        Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure outstanding progress for all students 

·        Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning.
