Your Role

We are looking for an Office Manager to be responsible for overseeing the daily administration of the school office (including line managing administrative staff) and supporting the Head Teacher.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate a creative, solution focused approach to the role and will thrive in a busy working environment. The role will involve using Arbor and requires excellent ICT skills. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day office activities, overseeing administrative staff, and liaising with students, parents/carers, staff, and external stakeholders. Every day is different, but every day is rewarding.

Qualifications

Foundation Degree / NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Administration, Finance, Business or related fieldessential
Maths and English GCSE (4-9 /C-A* grade)   essential

Experience

At least 3 years previous Administrative Experience in a school environment (or similar)essential
Previous Supervisory responsibility including the monitoring of performance and developmentessential
Experience of managing budgets, invoice and ordering proceduresessential
Experience of giving advice and guidance on policies / procedures to Senior Officersessential
Establishing and maintaining a range of management information systems, including ensuring accuracy of complex databases and spreadsheetsessential
Previous experience of using Arbor

Experience/Knowledge

Knowledge of Data Protection requirements and understanding of confidentialityessential
