Your Role

Who we’re looking for an outstanding teacher who can inspire students and instil a love of Art 

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers. Days of work are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Good classroom practitioner at KS3 & KS4essential

Understanding of competency-based curriculums in-line with assessment techniques and the ability to develop themessential
Experience in planning assessment strategies in line with desired outcomes  essential
A knowledge of current health and safety issues  essential

Relevant Skills

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a range of different audiences including providing sensitive feedback to parents/carers and other professionals regarding pupil developmentessential
Ability to work effectively in a wide range of partnerships to achieve school improvement   essential
Ability or commitment to develop the use of new technology to a high level    essential
