Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College’s popularity and success are built upon our commitment to provide our students with the best possible learning experience and the highest standards of support and guidance. We are proud of our dedicated staff and our vibrant student community, as evidenced by our recent Ofsted Inspection, which rated the College as “Outstanding” for Overall Effectiveness and in all other areas, with no recommendations for improvement.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our team of specialists, teaching either A Level Sociology (AQA) or Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology. The post has arisen due to the popularity of our Criminology and Sociology courses, and the successful candidate will have the potential to teach one or both subjects. You will join large, supportive teams with access to fully planned and resourced teaching, learning, and assessment materials. The post is offered on a full-time basis, but some flexibility could be considered.
Teachers in the College have very high expectations of both themselves and students, and the College is committed to developing a wide range of teaching for learning strategies. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and highly effective teacher who is committed to securing the best outcomes for students and maintaining up to date knowledge of developments in their field.
The College is committed to safeguarding our students and an enhanced DBS check is required for all posts. The College will also make an online check on all shortlisted candidates. The College values diversity and actively promotes equality of opportunity. As a disability symbol employer, all disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria for a post will be offered an interview.
