We are a heavily oversubscribed start-up secondary academy with 960 students, and we are on our way to becoming a leading educational establishment with a projected growth to 1200 students. We have been operating to an outstanding level and are committed to providing our students with the best possible education. We are now seeking an exceptional Literacy Coach to join our team and take strategic oversight of the department.

As a Literacy Coach you will play a pivotal role in developing the academic, social and emotional development of our students. You will be responsible for creating a positive and nurturing environment that encourages students to strive for excellence and achieve their full potential. Working closely with the English department and the library you will continue to deliver a well rounded, inclusive environment that our students thrive in both academically and socially.


Qualifications

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalentessential

Skills

Abilities, Skills and Knowledge

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamessential
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training will be provided).essential

Experience

Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is beneficial but not required
