Class Teacher (Temporary Maternity Cover) at The Laurels Primary School

The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will:
· Deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum
· Plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
· Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
· Assess and track pupil progress effectively
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
· Contribute to wider school life and curriculum development
We are looking for someone who:
· Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Has experience teaching in a primary setting (ECTs welcome)
· Has high expectations for all pupils
· Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to professional growth
· Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships

Salary
M1–M3 (£32,916 – £37,101)
This is a temporary maternity cover role. The contract will run until the return of the current postholder, currently anticipated to be May 2027.
