Academy base: Remote working but with travel to academies nationally


Salary: L21-28 (£72,483.00 - £86,040.00)


Reporting to: Chief Executive


Responsible for: Safeguarding Leads


Contract: Permanent


Hours: This position is based on 37.5 hours per week.

Our academies can collaborate and share ideas with one another in ways that schools may not be able to. As a supporting function to our academies, we are there to offer our expertise in our field to enable our academies to focus on what they do best, to provide high quality education to our students. Most importantly, we all feel part of something much bigger as our responsibilities go far beyond the four walls of a single academy and extend to people and their communities across the country.


About the role

The purpose of this role is to lead on safeguarding across the Trust, supporting the Chief Executive and Safeguarding leads by demonstrating best practice and drive for commitment. You’ll need to be a high performing, impact driven individual with proven results in your field and senior experience within education.


Our ideal candidate

You will need a professional teaching qualification. You will need significant previous senior leadership experience within a school or other large organisation.


In-depth knowledge of an education setting and be a specialist in advising and supporting the academies and senior leaders within the Trust in all areas relating to safeguarding. 


Leadership experience in behaviour and attendance also desirable.
