Fairfax Multi Academy Trust is a richly diverse Trust for students aged 4 to 16. We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, or experienced Finance Assistant to work within our finance team.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team and will report to the Finance Business Partner. Your responsibilities will be varied and include invoice processing and purchase ordering, as well as tasks such as; monthly aged creditor reconciliation, preparing prepayment and accrual information for our management accounts.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and administrative skills and will have used an accounting system previously. You will have excellent IT skills, be well organised and have the ability to use their own initiative as well as working in a team.
We will provide training and support to enable you to play a vital role in our centralised finance team, whilst developing your own career prospects.
Candidates will need to have achieved a minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in English Language and Maths (or a recognised equivalent qualification).
