  • Inspire students to explore a wide range of artistic media, techniques, and art history with curiosity and enthusiasm.
  • Support and guide students through practical work, sketchbook development, and exam preparation.

  • Monitor student progress, using assessment to inform planning and secure excellent outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote Art and creativity within the wider school community.

  • A deep passion for Art and excellent subject knowledge and a desire to share this with students.
  • The ability to teach inspiring, well‑structured lessons that motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with enthusiasm for contributing to a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • A commitment to high standards and a drive to raise achievement in Art.
  • An unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives, in line with our trust’s motto, libertas per cultum (freedom through education).
