Your Role

We are seeking 4 Midday Supervisors to join the team at Callerton Academy. In this important role, you will help create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their wellbeing, supervising activities across the school site and supporting a calm and orderly midday break. You will work closely with colleagues to promote positive behaviour, uphold safeguarding standards and ensure pupils are supported throughout the lunchtime period.

Key responsibilities will include supervising pupils in dining and outdoor areas, supporting pupils with specific needs, maintaining accurate records of incidents where required, liaising with kitchen staff regarding dietary requirements, and ensuring pupils move safely around the school during the lunch period.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

  1. Has experience of working with children and young people.
  2. Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  3. Is confident in managing pupils in a fair, calm and professional manner.
  4. Is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Remains calm under pressure and can respond effectively to situations as they arise.
