Your Role

L.E.A.D. IT Services, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a highly organised and professional Finance and Administration Officer to join our office team. This is an exciting opportunity to support and pro-actively contribute to the operational success of the Finance function within L.E.A.D. IT Services.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with report collation and information gathering as well as business analysis
  • Pro-actively preparing budgets and outturn forecasts
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records on the finance systems
  • Processing regular payruns
  • Raising invoices


We are looking for someone who:

  • Is confident using IT systems and willing to learn new software
  • Can manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively

Qualifications

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalentessential
Level 2 or above in an accountancy or finance qualification or other relevant discipline or willing to work towardsdesirable

Management Information Systems e.g. SIMS, G4S, MyConcernessential
Willingness to work with children and young peopleessential
Ability to use resources and materials including ICT software and equipmentessential
Understanding the role of parents/carers and the wider community in education
Experience of working within an education setting or equivalent
An understanding basic school organisation
Experience of working with children
Experience of a wide range of administrative functions, including managing a team of staff
Current first aid certificate
