Shape Student Success Behind the Scenes – Become Our Exams and Cover Officer at The King’s School, part of Pontefract Academies Trust.
Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting student success? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Exams and Cover Officer to play a key role in our thriving school community.
In this pivotal position, you will:
- Lead and manage all aspects of examinations – from entries to results – ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets exam board requirements.
- Coordinate and train exam invigilators, ensuring the right people are in place for every exam session.
- Work closely with staff and students to maintain accurate timetables and deliver a seamless exam experience.
- Oversee daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absences, including arranging supply staff when necessary through agencies to keep the school running efficiently.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week, term time plus 10 days) equating to 200 working days per year.
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–3:30pm, Friday 7:30am–3:00pm.
