As Deputy Curriculum Leader of English you will:
- Support the Curriculum Leader in driving the vision and strategy for the English department
- Contribute to developing an engaging, challenging curriculum
- Develop and support staff to ensure consistently strong teaching and learning within the department
- Monitor student progress and use performance data to raise achievement
- Help manage resources and maintain high standards across the department
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and partner schools
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is an ambitious, proactive classroom practitioner who models excellent teaching
- Has the drive to raise standards and maintain high expectations
- Brings fresh thinking and a willingness to challenge and improve practice
- Is passionate about English and inspires through an ambitious curriculum
- Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the school community
- Demonstrates strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
