We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious teacher, with an exceptional teaching ability, to join our vibrant academy. The Maths department is a strong and successful part of our team. Students are encouraged to take an additional level 2 further mathematics qualification to support their development in year 11 but also challenge them in preparation for A – Level mathematics. Furthermore, to develop a love and enjoyment of mathematics, students compete in the UKMT challenge. Nurture groups are used to support students in year 7 to 9 to ensure all students are effectively supported within the classroom.

If you can motivate students to achieve their best, you are passionate about instilling a ‘Growth Mindset’ and can nurture students to see challenges as opportunities to flourish, we’d love to hear from you.

This role provides a real opportunity for you to make your mark, and as a growing Trust with an excellent reputation, there are always opportunities for career development.

BBG Academy is proud to be part of Resilience Multi Academy Trust. The academy is oversubscribed, has achieved significantly above average Progress 8 scores in recent years and holds an Ofsted rating of good. The ethos of resilience, a Growth Mindset and Positive Discipline has helped to transform schools – from their culture to their Ofsted ratings – as well as the lives of students and teachers.

Resilience Multi Academy Trust is proud to do things differently. We have a reputation for high expectations for all, excellent staff/student relationships and a commitment to the personal and professional development of its staff. The Trust is recognised as one of the top performing Trusts in the country and is committed to providing private school opportunities in a modern comprehensive environment. We believe that traditional values of discipline and respect are sacrosanct. We do not tolerate bullying, defiance or rudeness to staff and this has made for a harmonious and safe learning environment for our young people, and a supportive environment for staff. We are a happy and well-run organisation and this is an extremely exciting time to join us. Also, as a growing Multi-Academy Trust, there are always opportunities for career development and progression for ambitious and committed colleagues.

The successful candidate will enjoy access to high quality CPD. You will also be joining a happy Trust where 95% of colleagues agreed that they enjoy working here and 92% would recommend us to a friend or colleague (taken from 2022 staff wellbeing survey). Our commitment to staff wellbeing means we prioritise staff mental health, drive down unnecessary workload and support our colleagues to progress in their careers. Furthermore, our Admissions Policy states that the children of Trust colleagues can attend our academies, regardless of catchment area. You can therefore benefit from the certainty of your children being able to access a high quality education.
