Hodgson Academy are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our thriving department. You will be a professional who sets high expectations, fosters a safe and stimulating learning environment, and is committed to the personal and academic growth of every student. This position is temporary for 12 months in the first instance.


Our department is a creative and forward‑thinking environment where learning goes beyond exam preparation to develop confident, thoughtful readers, writers, and communicators. You won’t simply be teaching to a specification - you’ll be part of a team delivering a rich, engaging curriculum designed to spark curiosity, discussion, and a love of language and literature.
