Your Role

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join a successful senior leadership team at Park View Academy.


The core purpose of the role will be to provide overarching support, alongside the Head of School and Executive Headteacher for the day to day running of the school as well as Provide strategic leadership for Inclusion and SEND across Park View Academy, ensuring high-quality provision for all pupils, particularly those on the SEND register and those in receipt of an EHCP. 


Key responsibilities:

● Undertake the statutory role of SENDCo, ensuring full compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and all relevant legislation.

● Work closely with the Head of School to maintain and further develop the school’s strong standards in inclusive practice and provision.

● Lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s Inclusion Strategy, ensuring equity of access, opportunity and outcomes for all pupils.

● Quality assure the effectiveness and impact of provision across the school, including interventions, adaptive teaching approaches, and targeted support for pupils with additional needs.

● Monitor and evaluate provision for pupils with SEND, using data and professional insight to ensure progress, attainment and wellbeing outcomes are maximised.

● Coordinate and lead Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, including annual reviews, ensuring all statutory requirements are met to a high standard.
