The Department

The Position
We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic leader to take full responsibility for the direction, performance, and development of the Science department. The Curriculum Leader will drive curriculum planning, raise student achievement, oversee assessment and reporting systems, and lead staff development within the area.
We are looking for a talented and motivated practitioner to support the Curriculum Leader in shaping and delivering the Science curriculum. The Assistant Curriculum Leader will help coordinate curriculum development, support assessment and monitoring systems, and contribute to raising attainment across year groups. The role includes assisting with staff coaching, contributing to learning walks and work reviews, supporting interventions for underachieving groups, and deputising for the Curriculum Leader when needed. A teaching commitment is included.
