Your Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled Specialist Teacher to join our Inclusion Provision team as part of our new Resource Based Provision. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to make a significant difference to the lives of pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), helping them to overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential. Working closely with pupils, families, staff and external professionals, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and inclusive teaching approaches that support communication, language development and social interaction that support speech, communication, language development and social interaction.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with experience of supporting pupils with SEND and a strong understanding of communication needs, EHCP processes and inclusive practice. Applicants should have relevant expertise in Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN). A Level 7 qualification in SLCN and/or SEN would be desirable and will enable the successful candidate to provide specialist expertise and support across the school. You will contribute to the development of personalised learning programmes, provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues, and work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure every pupil can access a high-quality educational experience.
