Your Role

We require an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team in a large, unique and diverse primary school and nursery which puts pupils and the school community at its heart. We are looking for a creative, adaptable and reflective practitioner who uses the latest research to support all pupil groups.

Qualifications

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalentessential

NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent childcare related qualification   essential

Experience/Knowledge

Recent work experience of working with children of relevant age in a teaching and learning environment essential
Experience of intervention delivery and planning essential
Understanding of principals of child development and learning processes essential
Experience of working with wide range of children including those with Education, Health Care Plans essential
Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and Teaching Assistant’s role essential
Experienced / Trained First Aider
