Your Role

Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College’s popularity and success are built upon our commitment to provide our students with the best possible learning experience and the highest standards of support and guidance. We are proud of our dedicated staff and our vibrant student community, as evidenced by our recent Ofsted Inspection, which rated the College as “Outstanding” in all areas, with no recommendations for improvement.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well‑organised Art Technician to support our Art & Design department. This key role involves preparing and maintaining studios, equipment and materials to ensure safe, effective and engaging practical lessons for students.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will support practical activities, manage resources and stock, maintain equipment, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times. You will also assist with exhibitions and cross‑college creative activities.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Art/Design (or equivalent experience), strong practical skills, and the ability to work positively with young people in a busy creative environment.

The College is committed to safeguarding our students and an enhanced DBS check is required for all posts. The College will also make an online check on all shortlisted candidates. The College values diversity and actively promotes equality of opportunity. As a disability symbol employer, all disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria for a post will be offered an interview.
