Band E SCP 5 - 6 (£19,584 - £19,895 Actual Salary)
Part-Time – Permanent
Hours: 30 hrs per week - term time only plus teacher training days (plus 4 weeks during the holidays for deep cleaning)
Working Hours: 11.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (Start/end times are negotiable, provided afternoon coverage is maintained).

THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you an experienced cleaning supervisor ready to take the next step in your career?
The Avon Valley School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Cleaning Supervisor to manage our school cleaning team to ensure a safe, efficient and inspiring learning environment for our staff and students.
No formal qualifications are required, however, a good standard in literacy and numeracy is required. The candidates will have the ability to work constructively as part of a team.
The successful candidates will be required to work 30 hours per week, term time, plus teacher training days, plus 4 weeks during the holidays for deep cleaning during October half term, February half term, and the last two weeks in August.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of our cleaning team and the maintenance of hygiene standards throughout the school. You will ensure that cleaning is delivered to a high standard in a safe, effective and efficient manner, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all students, staff and visitors.
