The Governors of Sneyd Academy are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, Classroom Teacher to join our friendly and professional team.

The successful candidate will have the strongest commitment and passion to continue to drive the success of the Academy forward, be a very motivated team player in a highly effective staffing team, be able to demonstrate exemplary primary classroom practice and expect excellence from our children, be a team player and be a strong advocate for change and champion Academy improvement.

Why Sneyd?

Sneyd Academy is a large inclusive primary academy in the Burslem area of Stoke-on-Trent. It is one of the largest primary academies in the area and has pupils from nursery to year six. The academy dates back to 1901 and whilst it has many modern features, it retains a strong history and pupils benefit from a good Edwardian building. The academy has recently benefited from a significant investment in digital infrastructure. We are fortunate to have large areas of green space, and this has been complimented with the recent addition of an outdoor learning space.

The Academy is part of the Alpha Academies Trust which is located in Stoke-on-Trent and consists of two Secondary Academies, four Primary Academies and a Central Team.
