The Alpha Academies Trust (AAT) is seeking a Trust Payroll Officer to join our friendly and supportive Central Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate payroll services to over 500 staff across our Trust. We offer flexibility regarding how the 20 hours are worked across the week, it can be done over 3 or 4 days allowing the successful candidate to achieve a positive work-life balance. The successful applicant will bring:


  1. Payroll experience
  2. Understanding of HMRC payroll requirements
  3. Knowledge of pension schemes and employee pay arrangements
  4. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  5. Strong customer service and communication skills
  6. Ability to manage confidential information professionally
  7. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
