We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor on a fixed term basis, expiring 22nd May 2026.

Hours per Week – 13 hours (Mondays and Tuesdays 8.30 am - 3.30 pm)

Grade/Range, Spinal Point – Grade 5, SCP 7 - 11

FTE Annual Salary - £26,403 to £28,142 (pay award pending)

Actual Annual Salary - £9,276.72 to £9,887.72 (pay award pending)


We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Cover Supervisor to join our ‘warm and welcoming school’ on a fixed term basis until 22nd May 2026.


The ideal candidate will share our student-centred values and be an engaging and proactive teacher with a passion for lifelong learning. You must firmly believe and be driven to ensure that every student regardless of starting point, can achieve success, enjoy school, and be engaged with wider school life, to become the best that they can be.


The candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner. The successful candidate will build on current developments within the school, Trust and nationally, to continue to improve outcomes and raise aspirations for all students.

Ability to use relevant technology and able to demonstrate knowledge and use a wide range of ICT systems and solutions to support learningessential
Demonstrate good numerical and verbal reasoning skills and literacy skills and have the ability to produce documentation to a high standard essential

Experience

Demonstrable experience of working with or caring with children of a relevant ageessential

Working knowledge of national/foundation stage curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategiesessential
Full working knowledge of School policies and procedures relating to health and safety, behaviour, attendance, equal opportunities and child protection.essential
