Your Role

St Peter’s C of E Primary School aim to provide pupils of all ages with a fun and safe place to start and end their day. As a result, we are recruiting for a highly motivated and dynamic Nursery Assistant (EYFS Teaching Assistant) to work alongside our Early Years leader to ensure that our nursery children get the very best start to education possible. At St. Peter’s we are passionate about providing our preschool children with the best start in their early year’s education. We are seeking to appoint someone with a secure understanding of child development, the importance of play and a commitment to providing children with high quality learning experiences. If you are passionate about early years education, we want to hear from you!

At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 162 children on roll, including a nursery. It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values - respecting environment.

In joining St Peters, you will be part of a friendly and welcoming staff team and a supportive community. You will have the opportunity to develop in an environment that has a strong focus on CPD, whatever career stage you are at. As a Church of England school, you will be happy to support the Anglican ethos through our school values.
