Your Role

We are looking for a warm and caring individual to provide the highest level of care for the safety and wellbeing of children in our new breakfast club and after school club.


This role is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 8:35am and 3:20pm - 5:30pm and is fixed term until 31st August 2027 initially.

 

We are looking for a warm and caring individual to support our wrap around care facility at our school. The purpose of the job is to:


·       Safeguard children during the breakfast and afterschool period

·       Prepare and assist with activities for the children on site

·       Supervise any relevant meals/snacks requires


The successful candidate will:


  1. Be reliable
  2. Be resilient
  3. Have an understanding of the development of children and are able to support young people
  4. Have an understanding of food hygiene


The following training will be provided for this position:

  1. Early Years & Childcare: Facilitating children's right to play
  2. Early Years 7 Childcare: Introduction to play
  3. Level 3 safeguarding
  4. Paediatric First Aid
