Salary: £26,432.64 - £29,203.20 (pt 12 – pt 16)

Contract: 52 weeks

25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays

Permanent Contract

Hours: 36 hours per week

8:30am – 5:00pm (Mon – Thurs), 8:30am – 3:30pm (Fri)

Role Overview:      

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Premises Team. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and experienced Maintenance & Compliance Assistant to support the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our school site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleanliness, safety, presentation and security of the school's buildings and grounds, ensuring that fixtures, fittings and facilities are maintained to the highest standard through both planned and reactive maintenance. In addition, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the school's statutory compliance by undertaking routine compliance inspections, quality assurance audits, fire safety checks, maintaining accurate compliance records and reporting any issues to the Premises Manager.

Working under the guidance of the Premises Manager, the Maintenance & Compliance Assistant will support the Maintenance Coordinator in delivering a high-quality premises service, helping to ensure the school environment remains safe, well maintained, fully compliant and fit for purpose for pupils, staff and visitors.
