Your Role

At Castlefield Campus, part of Ambition Community Trust, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English / Nurture to join our committed, relationally inclusive team.


This role offers a unique opportunity to teach English within a specialist SEMH setting, where relationships, emotional wellbeing, and re-engagement with learning are central to everything we do. You will support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, using a nurturing approach to help them rebuild confidence, develop literacy skills, and rediscover a love of learning.


Working closely with our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of an attendance support and engagement group, delivering creative and flexible English provision that meets pupils where they are and supports both academic and personal progress.

We are looking for a reflective, nurturing practitioner who is passionate about inclusion, understands trauma-informed practice, and believes in the transformative power of strong relationships and high expectations.

Castlefield Campus is a Special School for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. We have recently expanded our provision and now have a brand-new building which has been designed to deliver our therapeutic vision.
