Are you passionate about the power of outdoor learning to transform the lives of young people?

Ambition Community Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Outdoor Education Lead to develop and deliver an engaging outdoor education programme across our Castlefield Campus. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating memorable learning experiences that build confidence, resilience, teamwork and independence in our pupils.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead educational visits, expeditions, enrichment activities and outdoor learning opportunities, including the development of programmes such as the John Muir Award. You will work closely with pupils, families, staff and external partners to provide inclusive and inspiring experiences that support personal development, wellbeing and engagement in education.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and young people, organising educational visits and managing outdoor activities safely. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, highly organised and committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning through meaningful outdoor experiences. A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a school minibus are essential.

At Ambition Community Trust, we are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people through innovative, inclusive and relational practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow outdoor education across the campus and make a lasting difference to the lives of our pupils.

Ambition Community Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks.
