Your Role

Gillibrand Primary School is a unique and inclusive school that prides itself on providing a home-from-home nurturing environment. We create a culture where children learn to respect difference and diversity, not just through our personalised curriculum, but through the daily life of our school. We are committed to giving every child the very best opportunities, regardless of their background, race, gender, disability, or beliefs.

We wish to appoint a teaching assistant to support the teacher to plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups. To monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents and carers. To provide short term cover for classes to which the Teaching Assistant is normally assigned, when the class teacher is unexpectedly unavailable.

The role is full-time, working 8.35am-3.15pm Monday to Friday. The contract will be for 38 weeks, term time.
