St Michael's Church of England Academy, part of All Saints Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Special Educational Needs Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference to the educational experience of students with additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and SEND professionals to support students within mainstream lessons and through targeted intervention programmes.

We are seeking a candidate who has:

  1. Experience of using ICT effectively, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  2. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, including GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  3. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external professionals.
  5. An understanding of the diverse needs of young people and a commitment to supporting their learning and wellbeing.
  6. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also using initiative when required.
  7. A flexible and proactive approach to work.
  8. A commitment to upholding and modelling the Trust's core values and behaviours.
