Your Role

Welcome to Platt Bridge Community School

Our Vision

At Platt Bridge Community School, we are committed to providing a broad, well-balanced and relevant education that is enriched with visits, visitors and extended services. Our school is a modern, inclusive, non-denominational community school for children aged 2-11 years old.

We are committed to ensuring that every child entrusted to our care achieves their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. At school, we strive to create an inspiring environment which enables everyone – children, staff and families – to flourish and achieve their aspirations. This is encapsulated in our school motto of Promotes Belief Creates Success.

High-quality teaching is a key priority at Platt Bridge Community School and the relationship between staff and children underpins inspirational, supportive and effective teaching and learning. Staff are actively involved in identifying their support and training needs and this leads to careers with clear progression. We ensure that there is a wide range of quality training available and that staff are able to learn from each other and share good practice.

“Promotes Belief, Creates Success”

We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor to work as part of a team ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of children during the lunchtime period.

We strongly recommend contacting us prior to application. Please contact the school office to speak to Mrs Birchall, the School Business Manager
