AtC Superheroes Ltd are currently looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable After-School Club Assistant to join our dedicated wrap-around care team, based at Roseacre Primary Academy. As an Afterschool Club Assistant, you will help create a welcoming and engaging environment for children from Reception to Year 6. You will support the Supervisor and wider team, to deliver a variety of fun activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and interact with children during indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, reading, and group games.
  2. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, adhering strictly to the school’s safeguarding policies.
  3. Assist with the preparation and serving of healthy snacks and refreshments.
  4. Work collaboratively with the Supervisor and other school staff to plan activities and set up/clear away equipment.
  5. Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents, and carers, providing feedback on the children's day when they are collected.


About You

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and a proactive, positive attitude. Experience working with children in a school or nursery setting is preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided.

  1. Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  2. Thrive in a busy, ever-changing environment and can think on their feet.
  3. Have a genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development.
