The Alpha Academies Trust (AAT) is looking to recruit enthusiastic Associate Teachers to join our strong team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout Key Stages 3 and 4. The positions will be based at one of our Secondary schools, The Discovery Academy or The Excel Academy.


This is an Apprenticeship Pathway to gain Qualified Teacher Status. You will be placed on the Staffordshire University Apprenticeship Teacher programme, which is fully funded by Alpha Academies Trust. During the programme you will complete a Level 6 Apprenticeship Course and gain Qualified Teacher Status within 12 months. This pathway offers a combination of on-the-job training and academic learning. Where possible, we will strive to support the transition from an apprenticeship to a permanent teaching role, provided the curriculum and financial framework make this feasible.


The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
