The Role

Do you want to make a difference for pupils in your community? Join us as a Graduate Maths Excellence Specialist.

This is an exciting and innovative pathway into teaching secondary mathematics with Co-op Academies Trust.  With the generous backing of the Maths Excellence Fund, this opportunity is open to graduates who are passionate both about mathematics and the power of education to make a difference to the lives of young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We are looking for candidates who are hard-working, proactive and committed to ensuring all children have a positive school experience which sets them up for the future.

We’re offering £37,101 per annum for a two year role, followed by a guaranteed interview for the Co-op Academies Teacher Training Programme, continuing on the same incentivised salary at the start of your teaching career for successful applicants who remain with the Trust.

You will work with high-attaining pupils, providing academic interventions, enrichment activities and maths masterclasses in a Co-op Academy, starting with small groups and building towards working with whole classes.

This post comes with the unique opportunity to continue into a graduate pathway in Co-op Academies Trust on the salaried mathematics teacher training programme and, subject to successful completion, continue as a qualified teacher.
