Co-op Academy Stoke is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team 1 day per week, working specifically within our In-School Alternative Provision (ISAP). This vital role focuses on providing targeted therapeutic support to our marginalised students, helping them overcome barriers to engagement and achieve their full potential.

Supporting Staff to have Impact
We understand the emotional labour involved in supporting vulnerable students. A key part of your role will be to support the staff who work tirelessly with the ISAP and across main school.
- Facilitation: You will be confident in facilitating weekly staff debrief sessions to provide a safe, structured space for staff to process the emotional impact of their work.
- Coaching: We are looking for a practitioner who utilizes a solution-focused approach to staff coaching, helping colleagues find practical, sustainable ways to manage challenges and build resilience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals with the following essential qualities and experience:
- A recognised professional qualification and registration (e.g., CBT Therapist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Mental Health Nurse).
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with adolescents, particularly those who are marginalized or facing complex social and emotional challenges.
- A compassionate, trauma-informed approach to practice.
- Strong group facilitation skills and experience in staff support/debriefing.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset in both therapeutic and consultative work.
