Role Introduction: As a teacher at Wolverham Primary School, you will play a key role in shaping young minds and delivering engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will be responsible for providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for our primary school pupils, where every child feels valued and supported. You will foster a love of learning, encourage curiosity, and support pupils in achieving their full potential.


This role will be teaching year 3 for 1.5 days and covering 1 other class for a morning session.

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Statusessential
Good qualifications in both English and Mathsessential
Relevant safeguarding qualification and/or trainingdesirable

Evidence of ongoing professional development

Experience

Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
A clear understanding of the teaching of phonics and recent, relevant training
Strong understanding of assessment and progress tracking
Excellent classroom management and the ability to secure high levels of pupil behaviour
The ability to implement innovative strategies for learning to ensure that the needs of all learners are met
Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
Confident use of ICT to support teaching and learning.
Excellent and outstanding classroom practitioner who demonstrates enthusiasm, innovation and creativity in their teaching
Recent, relevant, successful experience of teaching in primary setting
Experience of planning, delivering and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Experience of effective classroom and behaviour management.
Experience of working with pupils with SEND and EAL.
